Feb 4, 2010 - but things that make her look beautiful such as make-up are not exactly the natural, or what god has given her. So unless a colourful scarf, or that certain way of hijab wrapping enahances her beauty then personally I don't see a problem. Plus, it's a good way for those who are new to the whole hijab thing, to know how to wear it differently, instead of becoming sick of it, and drifting off that path.

Feb 4, 2010 - @Sabilallah: I totaly understand what you are saying and I've been actually following this topic with scholars and scuh, many believe that a woman can only show what allah has given her and told her to show, ( in my opinion arms, legs and face). Now if a woman is beautiful by nature, we cannot simply take away her beauty so she can serve allah better, I'm nto sure if this is a hadeeth or a soora, but my parents allways quote: take them for their beauty, wealth... and the third i cannot remember.

Sep 30, 2009 - Singaporean? I am sorry for that obvious mistake. I currently live in Kazakhstan. It is in no way a muslim country. With that being said only 15 % of population is practicing Islam. But I see that A LOT OF Russians are reverting to Islam. It is like a disease (in a good sense) and there;s no cure for it! :-) And thank you for you comment!

Sep 30, 2009 - not all.. the muslims in singapore are the malays.. well actually there are 4 major ethnic groups in singapore.. 1. chinese 2. malay 3.indian and 4.othersso e majority of e muslims are malays.. however that doesnt mean no chinese, indian and caucasian are not muslim. there are but a minority. i hope this info will help uu ^^ and ohh is not singaporese but is singaporeAn (:
